Privacy policy

Effective date: August 25, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Customify Tee collects, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. The site is operated by ELSEN FULFILLMENT LLC, a Montana limited liability company, trading as Customify Tee.

We sell to customers across the United States, so this policy is written to meet the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and the comparable laws now in force in Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states. Wherever a right below is described, we extend it to every U.S. customer regardless of which state you live in.

1. Notice at Collection

Category Examples Why we collect it Who we share it with Shared for advertising? How long we keep it
Identifiers Name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number To take, produce, ship and support your order Print providers, shipping carriers, email provider No 7 years (tax and accounting records)

Payment information Card type, last four digits, authorization result To take payment and investigate chargebacks Payment processor only No 7 years for the transaction record. We never see or store your full card number

Customer service records Emails you send us, photos of a print defect To answer you and resolve the issue Email provider; print provider where a reprint is needed No 3 years

We do not sell your personal information. Nobody pays us for your data, and we have not sold it in the preceding twelve months.

We do share some browsing activity with Google for advertising. California law calls this “sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising”, and we would rather name it than bury it under the word “analytics”. It covers an online identifier and the pages you viewed — not your name, email, address or payment details. You can switch it off at any time: see Your Privacy Choices or Section 6 below.

We do not collect sensitive personal information as that term is defined under the CPRA, and we do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or information about your health, race, religion, sexual orientation or union membership.

2. Where the information comes from

Almost all of it comes directly from you: what you type at checkout, what you write in an email, what you ask us to print. The rest is collected automatically by the site as you browse, and a small amount comes from our payment processor when it tells us whether a payment succeeded.

3. Who we share it with, and why

  • Our print providers. Orders are produced either through Printify's print network or by our own contracted print facility, depending on the item. Whichever one makes your order receives your name, shipping address and what you ordered, because they physically make and ship it. Printify operates internationally, so data sent through it may be processed outside the United States.
  • Shipping carriers. Name, address and phone number, so the parcel can be delivered.
  • Our payment processor. They handle the card details directly; we receive only the outcome and the last four digits.
  • Google. Google Analytics receives page-view and event data so we can see how the store is used. The Google Ads tag receives an online identifier and the pages you viewed so we can show our products again to people who have already visited. This is the “sharing” described in Section 1, and it is the only advertising disclosure we make.
  • Hosting, security and analytics providers, who process technical data on our behalf under contract.
  • Legal disclosures. If we are required by law, subpoena or court order, or need to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
  • A business transfer. If the business is sold or merged, customer records may transfer as part of it. You would be notified.

4. International data transfers

We are based in the United States and our customers are in the United States, but our print provider network and some technical providers operate outside it. Where your information is processed abroad, it is done under contractual terms requiring protection equivalent to what is described in this policy.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work — keeping your cart contents, remembering you are logged in, and protecting checkout against fraud. These cannot be switched off without breaking the store.

We also use two Google tags:

  • Google Analytics 4 — measures traffic and which pages get used. It does not follow you to other websites.
  • Google Ads tag — lets us show our products again to people who have already visited this store, on other sites in Google’s network. This one does follow you off our site, which is why it is disclosed as “sharing” and why the opt-out below exists.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies will stop the cart and checkout from functioning.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it automatically as a valid request to opt out of sharing your personal information for advertising. You do not need to do anything else, and we do not require you to create an account to have that signal respected.

6. Your rights

  • Know what personal information we hold about you, where we got it, why we have it, and who we disclosed it to.
  • Access a copy of it in a portable format.
  • Correct anything inaccurate.
  • Delete it, subject to the exceptions below.
  • Opt out of sharing for advertising. Use Your Privacy Choices, send a GPC signal, or email us — see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Opting out does not affect your order, your price, or how quickly we reply.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect any.
  • Non-discrimination. Exercising any of these rights will never get you a worse price, a slower service, or a refused order.

How to exercise them

Email support@customifytee.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us what you want. We will confirm within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days. If we genuinely need longer we will tell you why and take up to 45 more.

We will not ask you to send us a copy of your ID. We verify you by matching the details you give us against what is already in the order record — typically the email address the order was placed with.

An authorized agent may act for you with written permission that we can verify.

Right to appeal

If we decline your request, we will tell you why in writing. You may appeal by replying to that email with "Appeal" in the subject line. A different person will review it and respond within 45 days. If we deny the appeal, you may contact your state Attorney General.

Why we might refuse a deletion request

We may keep information needed to complete a transaction you asked for, to comply with tax and accounting law, to detect fraud, or to exercise a legal claim. If we refuse in part, we will tell you which part and why.

7. Children

We sell adult-sized apparel, drinkware and wall art only. The site is intended for adults and only an adult can place an order. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and we have no features directed at children.

If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email support@customifytee.com and we will delete it.

8. Marketing email

We only send marketing email to people who ask for it. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe, and we honor it within 10 business days as required by CAN-SPAM. Transactional email — order confirmations, shipping notices, replies to your questions — is not marketing and continues regardless.

We do not send marketing text messages.

9. Security

The site runs over HTTPS with TLS encryption. Card details are entered into and processed by third-party payment providers that maintain PCI DSS compliance; they never pass through our servers and we never store them. Access to order data is limited to people who need it to do their job.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

10. Changes

If we change this policy materially we will update the effective date at the top and, where the law requires it, notify you directly. This version was updated on August 25, 2026 to disclose the Google Ads tag and the resulting sharing for advertising, and on September 13, 2026 to name both of our print providers.
